With over 10 years of experience in both traditional Visual Effects in both film and games I am able to adapt to any situation by leveraging technology and experience to deliver on artistic vision.
Visual effects
Starting in Visual Effects for Film, many foundational skills for computer graphics and rendering technologies have help me deliver on both visually stunning and convincing imagery that captures the imagination of the viewer/player.
Software Development
Both front-end and back-end Web development played a huge early role and building out my technical knowledge of building interfaces and applications that a user can interact with in a meaningful way. From there it was a natural transition into general game programming and functional menu design.
Technical artist
Combining both these schools of thought help me understand both sides of the pipeline to be able to deliver robust solutions for both artists and designers alike to enact their vision in an efficient and effective way.
